Sleeping Beauty

La Belle au bois dormant
"The Beauty asleep in the wood"

A classic fairy tale! A beautiful princess, enchantment and a handsome prince is a winning combination. First published in 1697 by Charles Perrault (Contes de ma Mère l'Oye  - "Tales of Mother Goose"). Walt Disney animated film (1959) is a mixture of Perrault's version and Tchaikovsky's ballet. There are so many versions of this fary tale... I just simply love each and one of them... Ok... maybe Brothers Grimm's version a bit more than others.
