Both of my grandfathers were partisans and that makes me very proud. I know that nowadays partisans and Josip Broz Tito are very sensitive subject in most of ex-Yugoslavia, but this is the way I was raised and I'm not ashamed of it.
April 6th also marks a very sad anniversary.
20th Anniversary of the beginning of Siege of Sarajevo.
The longest siege of a capital city in the history of modern warfare
6 April 1992 – 29 February 1996
As someone who practically grew up in a warzone I can only hope that nobody will have to go through that kind of hell again.
